John grew up in Churchville. He recently retired after 34 years as a Monroe County Sheriff. John is thrilled to be back at Northstar, which holds many fond memories. His three daughters, Cara, Alyssa, and Julia attended Northstar. John also coached softball at NCA for 5 years. John has been a member of First Bible Baptist Church since 1991. He currently serves in the Safety & Security ministry. He and his wife Lisa, enjoy spending time with family. Together they have six daughters, two grandsons and a granddaughter.

John enjoys doing remodeling projects around the house. He enjoys working out, fishing and traveling as well. John also enjoys trying to golf.
