Education
Houghton University - Bachelors in Biology and Theology with Youth and Sports Ministry minors
Roberts Wesleyan University - Master's in Childhood and Special Education
Amy attended Northstar all the way from kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating in 2017. She then went on to attend Houghton University, pursuing Biology while playing on their soccer team as well. After taking a missions trip with the soccer team to Romania and Austria at the end of her freshman year, she loved the way that sports can help bring the gift of the Lord to children both in her community and around the world. She then added on a Theology major with minors in Sports Ministry and Youth Ministry. During her junior and senior year, she also took some education classes as electives and loved being in the education field. After graduating in 2021, Amy saw the Lord work in her life through working at her church in Kids Ministry and coaching soccer and felt His calling to pursue an education degree. She then attended Roberts Wesleyan University and got her Master's in Education for Childhood and Special Education, graduating in 2023.
Amy married her husband Joel in 2022 and since then have added 2 dogs (Bella and Auggie) and 1 cat (Luna) to their family. In her free time, Amy loves coaching her Pittsford Mustangs soccer team, playing soccer at TSE, gardening, camping, and hiking with her dogs. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
